🍩 If you’d like a specific color or style, let us know in the notes. If not it will be artist choice.

🍩 The handblown glass Donut is attached to the metal stopper with E-6000 glue for absolute security (we have tried to pull them off by hand and they will not budge)

🍩 The glass is super durable borosilicate glass (like Pyrex) and the metal stopper is standard bottle size to fit wine, beer and soda bottles.

    What is lampworking?

Lampworking is a type of glasswork where a torch or lamp is primarily used to melt the glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with tools and hand movements. It is also known as flameworking or torchworking, as the modern practice no longer uses oil-fueled lamps. Although lack of a precise definition for lampworking makes it difficult to determine when this technique was first developed, the earliest verifiable lampworked glass is probably a collection of beads thought to date to the fifth century BC.

    Color Selection

Glass is not a normal color pallet, colors in glass can come and go and some colors have a limited selection of shade and some colors react completely different in the kiln every time. Which is why we cannot match specific colors even from our own photos.
